NLPS Password Reset Help

Enroll

Enroll

You must Enroll into this system before you can use it to reset your password or unlock your account. If you are already having password difficulties, you will need to call HelpDesk and resolve those problems first.   Once Enrolled, you will be able to resolve future problems yourself.
Enrollment is a one-time process and takes only a few minutes. You will be asked to choose three questions from a list, and answer them. You can use these answers in future to validate your identity should you need to unlock or reset your password.

Reset

Reset

Select this option if you have forgotten your password and would like to reset it. You will be asked for the answers to the three questions you chose when you Enrolled (see Enroll, above). If you answer those questions correctly, you will then be asked for a new password, and then to confirm it by typing it again. On the password change screen, we have listed the password rules, for your convenience. After changing your password here, you may need to wait a few minutes for the change to take effect.

Unlock

Unlock

Your account may become locked if the wrong password is entered too many times during logon. Select this option to unlock your account. You will be asked for the answers to the three questions you chose when you Enrolled (see Enroll, above). If you answer those questions correctly, your account will be unlocked. You may need to wait a few minutes for the change to take effect.

Change

Change

Select this option if you know your current password and would like to change it. You will be asked for your current password, a new password, and then to confirm the new password by typing it again. After changing your password here, you may need to wait a few minutes for the change to take effect.
